Cub Scout Awards
Cyber Chip Award
Tigers, Wolves, Bears, Webelos, AoL
Tiger, Wolf, Bear and Webelos Scouts may earn the Cyber Chip. This award promotes internet safety. A unit leader works with the youth to sign off on their cyber safety accomplishments. Cyber Chips expire annually. Each Scout will need to “recharge” the chip by going back to the NetSmartz Recharge area. This space will hold new information, news, and a place for the Scout to recommit to net safety and netiquette.

To encourage members to grow stronger in their faith, religious groups have developed the religious emblems program. The Boy Scouts of America has approved of these programs and allows the emblems to be worn on the official uniform. The various religious groups administer the programs. Check with your local council service center or contact the religious organization directly to obtain the curriculum booklets.

All shooting ranges in the Cub Scout program must be supervised by a qualified range master who is at least 18 years of age and who meets the minimum requirements.
Cub Scouts earn the shooting sports awards in the following order:
Rank-level patch. Choose a discipline: BB gun, archery, or slingshot. Complete the Level 1 requirements for that discipline.
Discipline device (pin). Complete the Level 2 requirements for the same discipline in which the patch was earned.
